The Bell
Natural Beauty
Artwork by Judy Nixon is on display for the month of May.
Because of its great beauty and small town atmoshere, Judy Nixon and her husband chose to move to the Bristol Area over 25 years ago. Although Judy's primary medium is watercolor, she also enjoys paintng in acrylics and gouache, and occasionally creating a monotype. She loves to paint the magical place she now calls home, the Pemaquid peninsula. Whether it is an iconic landmark, or creatures in her own yard, Judy feels a personal connection to her subjects. Light and color are important to her, and she is always eager to learn new techniques and experiment with new subject matter.Registration is now open for Ellen Ruppel Shell's talk on her book Slippery Beasts.
