Denise Gordon moved to Bristol in the spring of 2022 from Albuquerque, New Mexico where she had lived since 2011. She had retired from working as a Registered Nurse and wanted to be closer to family. She has painted all of her life, but it has always been more of a hobby or "side gig" than a serious undertaking. Art is an important part of her life. She enjoys exploring various styles from tight, controlled "comic book" art to loose palette knife strokes, to realism. Likewise, subject matter ranges from silly pet portraits to commissioned house portraits. Her favorite subject has been old shacks and piers. She loves exploring and learning.Library Hours:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 10-5; Thursdays 2-5; and Saturdays 10-Noon.Storytime every Friday morning at 10:30.The Knitting Group meets Mondays 1:00-3:00pm.
Iphone and Ipad assistance the first Monday of each month from 3:30-4:30.
